Mocha, a joyful Chihuahua mix, greeted every arrival with the familiar patter of his nails on the floor and one ear cocked, always eager for walks in his various outfits and to meticulously mark his territory after waiting patiently to be told he could go. He was a deeply comforting presence, intuitively sensing feelings during quiet evenings, and while he adored special snacks and dinner leftovers, he made sure to voice his displeasure with one growl at a rough belly rub, always keeping a watchful eye with a single bark to announce visitors.
