Billy's Story
Billy the Bengal was a cherished presence, first remembered by his 4 AM meows and the contented way he made biscuits on a blanket on the couch. He delighted in chirping for his morning food and snacks, finding true joy in sitting on a lap while a crossword puzzle was being done. We now picture him peacefully resting on Donna’s lap, savoring trout and tina without a worry, ready to play endlessly with Molly and Dakota.

Intro - ukulele, light percussion
Verse 1
A tiny sound at four AM, a gentle, sleepy plea,
A Bengal's call, a soft meow, woke up the house with glee.
On a special blanket, soft and deep, a purring, kneading art,
Making biscuits on the couch, right from the very start.
Your wild heart held a tender touch, a beautiful design,
A loving spirit, free and bright, eternally divine.
Chorus
Oh, Billy, our sweet Billy, sixteen years we knew your grace,
A joyful memory, shining bright, in every time and place.
You taught us love, a precious gift, a bond that can't be broken,
Your bright legacy will live, in every word unspoken.
Verse 2
Morning chirps for tasty treats, a signal we all knew,
For food and snacks, your joyful voice, always shining through.
Then on my lap, a quiet peace, as crossword clues I'd find,
Your warm weight there, a comfort deep, one of a loving kind.
From playful chases, swift and quick, to sunbeams on the floor,
You filled our home with so much life, and always asked for more.
Chorus
Oh, Billy, our sweet Billy, sixteen years we knew your grace,
A joyful memory, shining bright, in every time and place.
You taught us love, a precious gift, a bond that can't be broken,
Your bright legacy will live, in every word unspoken.
Verse 3
Turning upside down, a comfy bed, or blocking the TV screen,
Through every big game, you'd be there, our watchful, feline king.
Christmas ornaments would tumble down, with playful, joyful glee,
A festive chaos you'd create, for all the world to see.
Chasing Ivy up the stairs, with constant, happy cries,
Then Clark would flee his favored spot, right before our eyes.
Bridge
Though silence falls where paws once played, and shadows softly creep,
We hear a whisper in the breeze, secrets that our hearts will keep.
Billy, go find Molly and Dakota, we know they're waiting there,
Run free and play, with joyful bounds, without a single care.
Instrumental - ukulele, piano
Final Chorus
Oh, Billy, our sweet Billy, sixteen years we knew your grace,
A joyful memory, shining bright, in every time and place.
You taught us love, a precious gift, a bond that can't be broken,
Your bright legacy will live, in every word unspoken.
Outro
Now with Donna, warm and close, as she sips her evening drink,
Feasting on trout and tuna grand, more than you could ever think.
No pain, just pure delight, a feast beyond compare,
Running wild and free, our Billy, resting softly there.
Outro - ukulele fade
