Champ's Story
Champ, the beloved Goldendoodle, was a constant source of joy, always the first to greet you with a happy morning wake-up or an enthusiastic welcome at the door, even when his playful spirit wrestled with his weakening body. He filled every space with his presence, from cuddling on the couch to lying by the piano, always ready for a game of catch or to bring in a prized rock, convinced that even the squeaking bunny babies were his special toys. His unique barks for treats or reporting Pierrot's mischief will be deeply missed, along with all the quiet moments and wild adventures by his side.

Lyrics
Intro - piano, strings
Verse 1
First to greet me in the morning light
A fluffy shadow, always by my side
You'd walk me out, then welcome me back home
Never letting me feel truly alone
Even when your steps grew slow and weak
That loyal spirit still tried hard to speak
So silly, playful, full of endless zest
My dearest Champ, you truly were the best
Chorus
Oh, Champ, my Champ, my heart still feels the ache
For ten wonderful years, for goodness gracious sake
A golden echo in every happy sound
The truest friendship that I ever found
Verse 2
We played catch ball, a joy in every toss
No moment with you ever felt like loss
You'd greet me at the door with joyful bark
A blazing warmth that banished every dark
You loved to cuddle close, a gentle weight
And melt my worries at the garden gate
With gentle fingers, wiping your sweet face
You filled our days with laughter and with grace
Chorus
Oh, Champ, my Champ, my heart still feels the ache
For ten wonderful years, for goodness gracious sake
A golden echo in every happy sound
The truest friendship that I ever found
Verse 3
So smart and social, loved a crowd's embrace
You'd win their hearts with charm in every space
Though Pierrot and Yuki might draw glances near
You'd stay right by my side, dispelling fear
Your squeaky pig, named Edward, brought such glee
And finding hidden treats, a mystery
You'd dance in winter snow, a frosty king
And Christmas mornings, joy you used to bring
Chorus
Oh, Champ, my Champ, my heart still feels the ache
For ten wonderful years, for goodness gracious sake
A golden echo in every happy sound
The truest friendship that I ever found
Bridge
Oh Champ, my hardest goodbye, I confess
Thank you for all your golden tenderness
No pain will touch you now, my sweet old friend
So run wild free, your joyful race transcend
Jonathan and I will miss our park walks, true
And quiet moments, just me and you
Sleeping next to me, my big fan near the keys
We'll miss your barks for treats, or Pierrot's messy pleas
Instrumental - cello, piano, acoustic guitar
Final Chorus
Oh, Champ, my Champ, my heart still feels the ache
For ten wonderful years, for goodness gracious sake
A golden echo in every happy sound
The truest friendship that I ever found
Outro
Now running free, just zooming through the air
Bringing favorite rocks, without a care
Sniffing for nests, where bunnies squeak and hide
Little 'toys' you gather, by your side
My golden Champ, forever playing bright
Chasing sunbeams in eternal light
Outro - strings fade
