Max man's Story
Max man, a 75-pound pit bull mix, was a loving bodyguard who feared nothing, yet delighted in being a lap dog, offering pure love to his family. He most cherished evening snuggles on the sofa as the sun dipped below the horizon. Though letting him go was incredibly difficult, he is now running pain-free and joyfully reunited with Chika, Wally, Newman, Kits, and Amber.

Lyrics
Intro - acoustic guitar
Verse 1
I remember when you first arrived, a spirit strong and true
My bodyguard, my protector, there was nothing you wouldn't do
A pit bull mix with a gentle heart, you feared no earthly thing
Seventy-five pounds of pure, pure love, a joy you used to bring
Chorus
Oh, Max man, my good old friend, eight precious years we had
Every memory a treasure, never truly bad
You filled my life with so much light, a love so pure and deep
In every quiet moment now, your presence I still keep
Verse 2
When the evening sun began to fade, a golden, sleepy glow
You loved to snuggle on the sofa, putting on a show
My giant lap dog, warm and close, you'd settle by my side
With quiet comfort and gentle snores, nowhere left to hide
Chorus
Oh, Max man, my good old friend, eight precious years we had
Every memory a treasure, never truly bad
You filled my life with so much light, a love so pure and deep
In every quiet moment now, your presence I still keep
Verse 3
You walked beside me every day, a shadow at my heel
No matter what the world would throw, your loyal love I'd feel
A steady gaze, a wagging tail, a comfort in my soul
You made our house a brighter place, you always made me whole
Bridge
"Be free now," was our final plea, as tears began to fall
Letting you go, the hardest choice, giving our love our all
A silent promise whispered soft, for comfort in the pain
Knowing you're safe and soaring high, beyond the sun and rain
Instrumental - harmonica, acoustic guitar
Final Chorus
Oh, Max man, my good old friend, eight precious years we had
Every memory a treasure, never truly bad
You filled my life with so much light, a love so pure and deep
In every quiet moment now, your presence I still keep
Outro
Now you're running pain-free, Max, with loved ones by your side
With Chika, Wally, Newman, Kita, and Amber, nowhere left to hide
Across the endless, sunlit fields, your spirit flies so high
Sleeping peacefully, my sweet boy, beneath the open sky
Outro - guitar fade
