Every night, during their special cuddles, he was told he was the best boy in the world, a sentiment echoed by the staff and shoppers who always had a fuss and a treat ready for him. Now, one imagines him joyfully running to greet new friends, always hoping for a tiny treat, before settling on a favorite hall window sill to watch the world go by.
