Nigel's Story
Nigel, the spirited French bulldog, brought immeasurable joy with his distinctive yodel, playful zoomies, and his clever way of scratching his back leg with his front paw. He loved the morning ritual of waiting by the bedroom door for treats and playing eagerly in the sprinklers, and now he is free to run, finding endless sunny spots and peaceful ease.

Intro - acoustic guitar
Verse 1
I remember your sweet Frenchie yodel, a sound so clear and true,
Then your little zoomies started, a wild joy that flew.
You'd sit and scratch your back leg, with your front paw in the air,
Climbing up on tables and stools, without a single care.
That joyful bark when you were playing, a happy, noisy plea,
And little paws upon the tile, still cling to memory.
Chorus
Oh Nigel, my sweet boy, eight years we walked as one,
A love like ours shines brightly, like the rising morning sun.
Though tears may fall like raindrops, and my heart still feels the ache,
For the little Frenchie who taught me, what true love means to make.
Verse 2
Each morning you'd be waiting, by my bedroom door so slight,
For breakfast biscuits to arrive, to start your day so bright.
Then zoomies after business, a pure and happy race,
Our morning walks, our cuddles, your sweet and trusting face.
I miss you there each morning, for treats you'd patiently stay,
Those precious, quiet moments, that brightened every day.
Chorus
Oh Nigel, my sweet boy, eight years we walked as one,
A love like ours shines brightly, like the rising morning sun.
Though tears may fall like raindrops, and my heart still feels the ache,
For the little Frenchie who taught me, what true love means to make.
Bridge
Go run free, my sweet boy, may your body now be ease,
No more pain from stress or anxiety, just a gentle, calming breeze.
Forgive me for not trying harder, my sorrow runs so deep,
I'm sorry for your hurt, my promises I'll keep.
One day soon, I'll meet you, at the rainbow bridge we'll stand,
And I forgive you, my dear heart, I love you, little man.

Final Chorus
Oh Nigel, my sweet boy, eight years we walked as one,
A love like ours shines brightly, like the rising morning sun.
Though tears may fall like raindrops, and my heart still feels the ache,
For the little Frenchie who taught me, what true love means to make.
Outro - guitar fade
Now playing in the sprinklers, that go on forevermore,
Finding every sunny spot, upon a peaceful shore.
Your mind is free and tranquil, no worries, no more strife,
Just endless, happy moments, in your beautiful new life.
